About Mr. Delgado
Mr. Delgado is the Graphic Imaging Technology Instructor here at CVCC and has been a teacher here at CVCC for more than twelve years. In each of his classes, Mr. Delgado uses direct instruction and real-life experiences to provide students with the skills they need to pursue a successful career in the multi billion dollar imaging industries. Below is a brief program description for Mr. Delgado's courses.
GRAPHIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGY •Tech Prep
Credit: 3.5 elective per year
Students will learn how to reproduce text, art and photo images through computer imaging, photography and machine printing processes. Students learn to operate offset presses screen printers as well as digital four color and large format ink jet output devices,
Projects include a variety of lab related assignments as well as customer service projects. Other skills taught include graphic design, typesetting, photo applications, platemaking, multi-color presswork and bindery operations. Computer applications for graphic design layout and typography are an integral part of the program. Print Ed certification is available.
